MEET KITT

Coach in a Car
Artist of Life, Heart, and Vision

EARLY YEARS

I came into this world with my fists up and my spirit on fire. Literally. I was a leash child. Not because I was bad—but because I was born curious, wild, and ready to go anywhere except where I was told to stay.

I’ve always followed the tug of my heart, even when it made no sense on paper. I didn’t wait. I leapt. I questioned everything. I was the kid climbing trees, making forts, directing neighborhood productions of *The Wizard of Oz* (yes, I was Dorothy), and creating carnivals at eight years old with ticket booths, food, and fun houses. FUN was my guiding light, and rules… well, they were optional.

Color was (and still is) my love language. I didn’t just want the 8-pack of crayons—I needed the big box with ALL 48 colors. Periwinkle. Maize. Burnt Sienna. I wanted to live in the colors and wear the colors. So I learned to sew. I’d buy fabric after school, stay up past midnight, and strut into class the next morning in a taped-hem masterpiece. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. Was it mine? Hell yes. My life has been one big creative experiment in heart and vision. I didn’t wait for someone to hand me a blueprint—I made one out of scrap fabric, glitter, and guts.

BREAKING FREE

In my 20s, I went to design school and felt like I’d landed in the land of YES. But life had other lessons waiting for me—about marriage, motherhood, identity, money, gender roles, and saying NO to what doesn’t fit. I found myself divorced with three little ones, rebuilding a life from scratch. I had to learn boundaries, resilience, and how to hold both heartbreak and humor in the same breath.

I needed help – the type of help WE ALL NEED when life doesn’t turn out as planned. I am grateful to the people who helped me learn and grow. And, I am grateful for the people who chose NOT to help me in my time of need. Some life lessons I needed to learn on my own.

EMPOWERMENT ERA

I experimented with love, identity, and spirituality. I tried to color inside the lines for a while—until I realized I was born to scribble with the fat-tipped marker of truth. I couldn’t be boxed in by roles, expectations, or outdated definitions of what a woman should be. I had to get lost to find my way. Over and over. Again and again. That’s when I started to really understand my power – not the kind of power that screams – but the kind that comes from learning to live with radical heart and unshakeable vision.

And now? Now, I show up as the Coach in a Car—teaching, guiding, and driving forward with heart and vision. I create quick, real, funny, soul-hitting videos because we’re all out here navigating life, and we could use a little permission to trust our gut and keep going.

I also run KittDepatie.store, a vibrant collection of tools, treasures, and inspired goods designed to bring more joy, color, and intention to your daily life.

WHAT I KNOW FOR SURE IS THIS:

You don’t need to wait for the right timing.

Or permission.

Or for life to get easier.

You have everything you need right now—inside you.

A wild, beautiful heart.

A clear, knowing vision.

And maybe you just need someone to remind you how to use them.

THAT’S WHY I’M HERE.

To ask: What makes you come alive?!

To help you laugh through the chaos.

To teach you how to lead with heart.

To show you how to see your life with fresh vision.

And to walk (or drive) beside you while you finally step into your full, unapologetic self.

Hop in the car and let’s go!
Together – with heart and vision.
